[GOODS] Hayate’s 19th Birthday Goods & Brief Explanation

On October 12th, the SUPER★DRAGON official twitter account revealed the goods celebrating Hayate’s 19th birthday! In addition to a photoset with two different themes, a special keychain doll of Hayate’s beloved cat Kumakun is available for sale. Check the goods out in the gallery photo below!

After the initial reveal of the goods, it was noticed by some fans that the yukata Hayate wore in the pictures was not fastened in the correct way, according to the traditional rules of fastening. A yukata is a traditional type of Japanese kimono, with a light fabric and single layer to keep one cool in the summer. Because of the clothing’s strong roots in traditional culture, some were mildly concerned that the incorrect fastening of the yukata may reflect negatively on SUPER★DRAGON.

On October 13th, a notice was posted on the official SUPER★DRAGON homepage regarding the error. It was decided that the yukata themed pictures would be re-shot with the correct fastening of the yukata, and that the window of time to purchase the birthday goods would be extended from its usual four day window.

The pictures in the sample below reflect the actual pictures that will be released. We think he looks great! Both the photoset and Kumakun keychain doll are available for pre-order from Stardust Bin until October 22nd.
