On the September 19th pre-concert NICONICO broadcast held to promote SUPER★DRAGON’s upcoming anniversary, the members unveiled surprise plans to release a new single titled “Burning in the nights” on September 23rd, 2020.
The news announcement from the official homepage included the following statement:
“In order to advance to the forefront of promotions that incorporate overseas influence, we’re welcoming three-time award winning music producer and Japanese representative to the global music stage, UTA, in his first composition for SUPER★DRAGON. Together with the members, a challenge born from the deep exchange of ideas was undertaken to enter a new element with a composition stained with the individual colors of our members. With the delicate intermingling of rap and melody, the song is a piece that represents the tension and power of our ambition.
As we look back on our 5th year, and look forward to our 6th year, we hope to show you a turning point towards a new perspective!”
Furthermore, SUPER★DRAGON also announced that the new song “Burning in the nights” will be performed for the first time in the CEREMONY part of their 5th Anniversary NICONICO Live. For more information about how to see the new song as well as the rest of the concert, see our post here.
